Vertex Ray joins Holberton School as Hiring Partner
Training and continuous improvement are part of the Vertex Ray culture, faced with the need to shorten the digital divide, we find in the Holberton School proposal a different methodology, oriented to the current needs of companies that not only contemplates technical skills if not also the soft skills as necessary as the first. It is a pleasure for us to support this important initiative for the IT sector.
Holberton School is a Silicon Valley code school, founded by investors with a background in technology and education in companies such as Linkedin, Yahoo and Docker. There are currently 13 Holberton campuses distributed in 8 countries (USA, Colombia, France, Tunisia, Lebanon, Peru, Ecuador and Uruguay).
Holberton School prepares bilingual full-stack software developers in a 9-month period (Fundamentals of Programming). If they wish, in a second period also of 9 months, students can access specializations in Machine Learning, Low Level algorithms & Blockchain, Virtual Reality / Augmented Reality and Full Stack Web Development, through intensive and face-to-face courses, with a theoretical methodology -practice based on project management.
We believe that it is an innovative modality that fosters the autonomy and independence of the student and the ability to work as a team.
Thank you Holberton Uruguay for giving us the opportunity to be Hiring Partners. Success to the students of this first cohort in Uruguay!
